Well, on my endless search for new and cool streetwear brands and interesting stuff, I stumbled across
North Skull, a jewelry brand, which, like
GoodWood NYC, makes wood jewelry. The one on the left is a North Skull Jesus piece and the one on the bottom is a GoodWood Jesus piece. The idea of the Jesus piece isn't new, but the wooden craze was really popularized by GoodWood. I'm not going to lie, the fact that the North Skull piece is 3D makes it look way better than the GoodWood piece.
I dunno, I just think it sucks when you have a good idea and then some prick makes it 15 times better than you had it. Y'know, like when Nintendo came out with Wii and they were so proud and then Microsoft and Sony both came up with better versions of motion sensor gameplay.
The thing that saves GoodWood is that their prices are a lot better, but hey, you get what you pay for, right?
